This Grade II* listed church is located in the Bloomsbury Conservation Area where it was initally constructed as a chapel-of-ease designed by Arthur Tooley in 1705-06. In 1718 the structure was strengthened and the interior aggrandized with the work being carried out under the supervision of and to the designs of Nicholas Hawksmoor, in his capactiy as Surveyour to the Commisioners for FiftyNewChurches. GQA are currently involved in their 2017 Quinquennial.
