GQA were the conservation consultants for the award winning V&A Museum Exhibition Road Quarter in London. This new extension has given the museum a new entrance, new galleries, and will allow public access to historic parts of the buildings which were not currently accessible. The project involved dismantling and reconstructing the Grade I listed stone screen by Sir Aston Webb, which will act as a major new gateway to the museum. Designed by AL_A and working alongside ARUP, the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter won three RIBA awards in 2018: RIBA London Award, London Building of the Year and the National Award.
